Who is at fault if Kashmiris are not free from India? A Kashmiri's fault ? Who is to be blamed if Kashmiris are suffering ?
A Kashmiri' s fault?
Did a Kashmiri Muslim apologise to a Kashmiri Pandit?
Was it not their responsibility?
Dogra killed many Kashmiri Muslims who have suffered a lot before 1947 but then why punish the Kashmiri Pandits?
One cannot blame either/or for this, It is the entire community which is to be blamed.
Muslims were in majority so was it not their responsibility to save KASHMIRIAT?
Now Kashmiri Pandits are asking for the Union teritorry to be a separate land in Kashmir, which I do not support. However, it was an inhumane act that happened in 1989 1990 with Pandits.
I am a Kashmiri Muslim, I cannot go back to 1990 and save them. My apology won't help them but the least I can do is "apologise".
Not all but maybe a few will forgive me, as we remained quiet! "To speak up", was that not our responsibility?
I could not as I was only 6 years old. But I wish I could have helped to save "one" Pandit from suffering.
The Indian Government was also involved in this process, several say that the Indian Government wanted Pandits to leave Kashmir and commit mass killings in the name of terrorism.
Only God knows the reality but do you think this would be possible without the help of state and central Governments? Having a massive military base in Kashmir they could have provided base camps in their territory or even inside the military camps. But the Government was not interested and instead provided buses for them to run away.
Why?
What was the reason?
Maybe it was what the Indian Government wanted to do, get the Pandits out of Kashmir and whosoever they kill, will not be a Pandit anywhere on the road.
Kashmir has suffered a lot and is suffering to this day. I neither blame India nor Pakistan , don't even think of USA.
kashmir has suffered, is suffering and will carry on suffering because of Kashmiris.
I could never understand who and what they support.
Do they support India or Pakistan? Do they support Guns or Peace?
Do they support an Indian terrorist or a Pakistan I terrorist, in u inform the so called "Indian Army!!.
A Kashmiri informing the I diane army about terrorists and then a Kashmiri cribbing g about a political party but after every 6 years a Kashmiri casts his vote in favour of the same party!!
Several questions remain unanswered.
Why Kashmiris give respect and offer tributes to a militant after his demise and call him a "freedom fighter"?
Hundreds and thousands attend his funeral when some Kashmiris themselves informed the army of his whereabouts.
When so many people respect a militants with a Kalashnikov, then who is a terrorist? Indian army or militants (Pakistan trained)?
In a casual conversation with a few friends one asked me why Kashmiris respect and attend the funeral of a militant?
I replied, because of fear.
My friend smiled and asked "how is it possible that they can scare people even after their death"?
It was my turn to smile now I replied, " go back and ask the Indian Army".
Different minded people ask different questions. I lit my cigarette and placed the packet on the table.
A few months ago a "wanted" militant was killed in an encounter with the Indian forces, so I asked one of my friends about it, who was involved in the operation. Just as friendly banter I said," you must have earned well as the militant who was killed had a good reward". His reply was shocking and surprised me.
He said that he would be handed over a small amount to and that they don't do it for the reward they do it for the country (India) as he was a military personnel. But then I thought politicians and senior officers must be handing out a small amount and the rest must be getting transferred to their personal accounts.
He replied " we are" huge numbers to kill one terrorist! We cannot always kill them, as they manage to escape.
Other civilian friends said "oh they must be so scared to die". The army personnel's answer was "the militants we have killed in encounters had killed several army personnel which the media fail to report in the news. So these people are not scared.
But we are scared because we have a responsibility to our families.
At this point the conversation came to a halt.
But one thing despite all this, a Kashmiri Muslim must apologise to Kashmiri Pandits but this does not mean that separate coli it's or Union territories should be made for them in Kashmir and in that process create another Israel Palestine (Gaza) or subdivide Kashmir into Pandit Kashmir and Muslim Kashmir.
The Kashmir issue is an ongoing issue and till the Kashmiris realise the difference between right and wrong, they will remain responsible for every suffering inflicted on them.
SAVE KASHMIR SAVE KASHMIRIAT.
Let us think and analyse what has gone wrong, how can we bring peace and prosperity to Kashmir?
External powers will not let us survive but dealing with an external enemy is easier As compared to an enemy within.
WAKE UP AND CHANGE YOURSELF NOT OTHERS.
saying "sorry" does not belittle you , "sorry Pandit brothers for remaining quiet. We are equally responsible for your suffering as the ones who killed Pandits in Gaukadal."
I request you to come and stay with us and if you are busy with your work and other responsibilities then send your parents to us and we will look after them and we will take care of them, we will take them to every temple they want to visit in Kashmir.
We will cook "nadru" (lotus stem)Kashmiri Pandits live this, with fish and haakh (saag) for you, along with rice we will serve mu chatin ( radish yoghurt) danival chatin (mint yoghurt) and dooin chatin (walnut yoghurt). I wish to see that brotherhood returning to Kashmir for Kashmir has lost its charm.
Just Muslims can't bring that lost love back Pandits are an important part of Kashmir. Throw a plate on the floor if it smashes one apologises. Will it be able to to stay the same as before?
At times saying "sorry" does not fix things.

We are sorry for the incident. To add, it wasn't riots, it was a terrorist act and all Kashmiri's are victims, be it any religion. By now all those terrorist must be punished.
ReplyDeleteTheir were other hidden reasons to take them out, but it didn't happened. Many Pundits and Sikhs stayed back and still living peacefully. Peace.
